May 17, 2021 These are my top 5 ways to make money fast in GTA Online. The fifth way I like to make money in GTA 5 online as a solo player is the time trials. The Time trials reset every week allowing you to make a total of 200k every week in under 5 minutes. The fourth way I make money as a solo playing GTA is using the bunker as passive income.
Within Rockstar’s GTA V online world, you can never get enough money – and knowing how to make them fast is going to put you a step ahead in order to have an exciting gameplay experience. A lot of people are just using shortcuts and pay for in-game money with real ones – that’s not how the game should be played. In this short guide, we would answer the question of 'How to make money in GTA 5 Online' as fast as possible.
There are a lot of ways to spend money in GTA Online – you can either trade it in for Casino chips to play table games… or getting materials and supplies to build up your criminal enterprises.
Time is an important criteria for this list – some of the methods here are more efficient than the other – you might only need to spam one thing to get money. However, doing a single thing over and over is pretty boring – and because of that, you should investigate every option at least once to figure out how to get the maximum return.
1 – How To Make Money In GTA 5 Online: Heists

If you have at least three other friends and access to a high tier apartment, Heists are probably the best way to get more money (especially the Pacific Standard Heist). If you are playing GTA 5 Online Solo, these two methods are probably your best friends. They have the potential to surpass even the heists if you do other tasks in between jobs. You would need an Office building and Vehicle Warehouses to kickstart this, which would be rather expensive at first.
Don’t worry about that because you would get your money back in no time flat. For vehicle cargo specifically, you should fill your warehouse will 10 unique standards and mid range cars without any duplicates – so that every mission would roll into a top range car. Afterward, you can just continuously export top range cars whenever the timer allows.
3 – How To Make Money In GTA 5 Online: VIP Work
Possible profits: $150000 per hour
If you are planning for some hardcore grinding with maximizing playing time, it might be a good idea to focus on VIP work, as it can be done in between jobs. Once you have started an organization as a CEO or VIP, you can select “VIP work” from the interaction menu and pick from a variety of free roam quests to complete.

While you are making money elsewhere, these two actions would continue providing products for you to sell and get more profit. Buy either a Motorcycle Club and Cocaine business or a bunker to begin Gunrunning. Afterward, you can either steal or buy resources for your business to sell.
While steal might seem to be a good idea, it wastes precious time that you can use to do something else instead. It is best to just buy resources at a cheap price and sell them slightly higher to get the difference. While you might not make as much money, it would be pretty much effortless. Remember to do the selling mission frequently if you are a solo player – you might have to bring another player if there are too many resources.
5 – How To Make Money In GTA 5 Online Fast: Time Trials
Possible profits: $50000 per trials
These free roam time attack races can be a good way to make money – if you are good at racing, however. This somewhat works the same way as VIP Work, with a new time trial unlock every week – you can do it in between your other money making jobs. For just a few minutes of driving, you can get a payout of $50k easy – just make sure to keep it under 10 minutes, as the profit margin would dip beyond that limit. Look on the internet to get info about whichever trials are active that week.
6 – How To Make Money In GTA 5 Online Fast: Air Freight Cargo/Nightclubs
Possible profits: Less than other methods

Complete In-game Missions & Jobs
In-game missions are automatic jobs handed to you solo (or with other players). When you enter GTA Online, Lamar (from the single-player campaign) will help your character get set up. Completing these missions will earn you cash early on and help you purchase some much-needed elements. Be sure to check your phone for texts or calls and answer them. The key here is to stay busy and apply yourself.
Customer's Always Right
If you want to wrack up dough quickly, the absolute best way to earn money at the start is by robbing convenient stores. It's the quickest and usually the easiest way to accumulate a ton of currency. There are 18 stores in GTA Online, and they're all marked on your map. There's always a catch, though. Some stores require two players. In this case, get someone you can trust (a friend, girlfriend or your brother) and enter one. If you aren't aware of the other player's intentions, don't risk it; chances are they'll rob you.
Once you enter a store, equip your weapon and hold the cashier at gunpoint. At this moment, you must intimidate the cashier and convince him/her to give you the money. You will see an intimidation bar on the lower-right part of the screen – fill it to receive the money. A key recommendation is to have a headset plugged in, because yelling at cashiers works smoothly and draws less cops without gunfire. With the money gathered, you'll have one more task: escape the police.
Sell Cars
Want to make cash like a criminal? Steal ANY car, then bring it to a Los Santos Customs. Every vehicle has the option to sell from the custom menu. The price highly depends on the type of car and its condition, so make repairs before selling it.
Join Jobs
Perhaps you're in a quiet game with little going on. Well, if players are roaming around and doing nothing, try searching for another game – or better yet, host a job session. As noted before, each job or mission you complete grants you cash with free-spending.
Race, Fight & Make Bets
Along with jobs and missions, there are other ways to earn money. Check your in-game map for a variety of activities, such as land races, water races, team deathmatches and more. These all appear as blue icons and are easily marked. Each one can be physically entered via its blue 'hub,' or can be selected from your phone.
Additionally, you're capable of making bets prior to each match type. Think of it as a gambling game – if other players bet, there's a big pot of gold guaranteed for the winner (in first place). This is of course risky business, so unless you're feeling lucky or have a ton of dough to throw around, feel free to chance it. Bets can be made in multiples of a hundred, so you can always play it safe.
Be Friendly, Be Mindful
If you're a good player, you'll earn rewards from time to time. In other words, don't go around shooting everyone and acting like you own the map. Being a good sport can grant you effortless cash and make you more likeable. Although it's a small amount, money will automatically be placed into your bank account. It never hurts to make friends; work together and live richer.
Be Greedy & Tick People Off
Contradicting the tip above, you can be one of those greedy players everyone hates. It's rather simple: chase a player and then gun them down or run them over. Each time a player dies, they drop money (near their corpse). Although this seems exciting, the unimpressive rewards usually result in bad rep with a warrant on your head.

We've mentioned this numerous times already: Trust is a very important factor in GTA Online. Trustful people produce crews (clans) and tackle jobs together. GTA Online also gives you an opportunity to share money with other players. This can be done within your group or given to other people in the game; access the share option in the Interactive Menu. Bank Money vs. Cash Money
